Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The initial inspiration came from the shadows that were cast onto grass. A few months later she devised a process that didn't make the subject onto canvas in an image that was flat. It is more like the image has been transformed to it's own representation with the canvas taking on the artist's interpretation. This is especially effective when dealing with living objects as well as items that have a shelf life such as fruits or people. Alexa Meade's works are fleeting and the image is left. The painting and photography techniques closely synchronized, which results in a two-dimensional, flat area that is trompe l'oeil. Certain elements of the picture such as the hair, or eyes, display the three-dimensional dimension. Meade will sometimes integrate her model in the environment around her and allows them to interact within the world of their own. The lines between performance, photography, installation and painting can be dissolved.
